Agency Director: Andrea
Jones-Shiver
Andrea Jones-Shiver is the owner and
director of First Coast Talent Agency. She began her entertainment
career in the cruise industry with Premier Cruise Line (the official
cruise line of Walt Disney World). She worked within the cruise staff,
youth activities, and shore excursion departments. During her years at
sea, Andrea served as Social Hostess, Shore Excursion Manager and
Assistant Cruise Director onboard all of Premier Cruise Line's vessels.
Ms. Jones-Shiver was a member of the original cruise staff team to bring
out two newly acquired vessels: the S.S. Atlantic and the S.S. Majestic.
Andrea played an integral role in creating and implementing each new
ship's programming, entertainment and activities.
After six stellar years with Premier
Cruise Line, Andrea relocated to North Florida and utilized her
experience in the cruise industry, as a consultant and Cruise Director,
for Emerald Princess Cruise Line. Ms. Jones-Shiver was responsible for
training existing cruise staff and new hires. Her skills were further
put to use by Emerald Princess to devise and implement onboard revenue
increasing activities and entertainment.
In 1998, Andrea created First Coast
Talent Agency, establishing it as North East Florida's premier talent
agency. The Agency has since expanded to cover Gainesville, FL;
Tallahassee, FL; and Savannah, GA markets, with further East Coast
expansion in the works.
